Christine Mindicino is the CEO and Owner of Cornerstone Counseling. She is a licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing in both New York and New Jersey.

Christine has ample experience working with clients of all ages with a variety of presenting issues. Prior to beginning her private practice, Cornerstone Counseling, she was a therapist and clinical supervisor in a group practice. She treated adults with a focus on anxiety disorders, trauma, perinatal mood disorders and life adjustments. 

Christine also has experience treating children and adolescents in school-based mental health settings as well as home-based programs. These roles included family therapy and parent support sessions. She has held numerous supervisory roles where she has trained, managed and overseen teams of therapists and social work interns. 

Christine’s approach focuses on the individual and finds it critical to create a distinction between the person and any issue or affliction they may be facing. 

She received her Master's Degree in Social Work with a focus on Clinical Work from New York University in 2011. She has received postgraduate training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Clinical Practice with Adolescents, Perinatal Mood Disorders, and Clinical Supervision. She has also created and facilitated professional development trainings focusing on trauma informed approaches. In 2019, Christine was awarded the Aqua Leader Award at the Annual Leadership Awards through the National Association of Social Workers.
