Alexa is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University's School of Social Work. Alexa is currently a Master’s Candidate at New York University's Silver School of Social work.

Alexa has experience working with clients of all ages with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety disorders, trauma, life adjustments, and eating disorders. Prior to beginning practicum at Cornerstone Counseling, she practiced at an eating disorder treatment center working with adolescents, adults, and families. Alexa also has experience counseling adolescents and young adults in university based settings. She has particularly enjoyed supporting young adults as they navigate the transitions, challenges, and uncertainties that often accompany this stage of life.

Alexa meets clients where they are, recognizing that taking the first step toward therapy can feel unfamiliar. She provides a warm, relational approach and tailors sessions to each client’s needs.
